Irish Folk-roots Rocker - Born Kevin Barry Moore, Luka Bloom remains at the forefront of the singer-songwriter movement. He got his start touring English folk clubs with older brother Christy Moore and his breakthrough was The Acoustic Motorbike featuring the hit cover of L.L.Cool J's “I Need Love” which Rolling Stone said "the prospect of a folksy Irish rocker covering a rap ballad may seem strange, but experimenting with different forms is precisely what keeps established traditions vital." Admired among his peers, Luka has shared the stage with the likes of Lou Reed, David Byrne & Roseanne Cash.
