(Cabaret section reserved for Theater Members until 2/28/13)     Otis Taylor’s music is an amalgamation of roots styles in their rawest form as he addresses heavyweight issues and the human condition. Paste Magazine calls him "a country folk version of spontaneous, talking blues master John Lee Hooker" and The New Yorker dubbed his sound "Velvet Underground Railroad." Otis won the prestigious Handy Award plus he spearheads a Blues in the Schools program called "Writing the Blues." Otis Taylor's new album is “My World is Gone” which features Mato Nanji (Indigenous’s lead guitarist & vocalist) and will join the band on-stage.

“Blues CD of the Year awarded four times.” - DownBeat Magazine
“One of the most innovative, thought provoking blues artists to emerge in the last 20 years.” - Billboard
"Otis Taylor is arguably the most relevant blues artist of our time." - Guitar Player Magazine
